I know that s free Euro (or UK) based tempers met several years ago (Hadrian, Trolley, and possibly more). I'm dreaming of one day gathering as many temp staff as possible for a cool meet up somewhere in the world. Other tempers would be fun too of course, but I would feel most comfortable with the staff

I'm 25% Swedish my great-grandparents immigrated to the USA from (just asked my mother this to confirm, haha) Varmland. Regrettably, I've never taken the time to ask too much about my Swedish heritage, but everyone in my family on that side has an intense fascination with wooden Dala horses, and making Swedish foods for Christmas. (Google was especially useful here! 20 years and I've never learned how to spell these things, but now I know!: Korv and Kaldomar, I swear I never would have expected to spell the latter like that)

I know for sure I've got pretty heavy Swedish and Iranian roots, but I've always been interested in how far that goes back! I remember doing one of these Ancestry trees online when I was a kid, searching through historical documents. Maybe I will get one of those DNA tests done for fun one of these days!

Korv = sausage also interestingly enough, Kåldolmar are a Swedish variant of a Middle Eastern dish (funny considering your Iranian roots).

I've been to Värmland once, the day after my 18th birthday for some mandatory military evaluation. They have a lovely accent there.
