Actually, we can. But only in Userland mode, currently. Software used for kernel mode exploits haven't been made yet, but the exploit is already public. A Nintendo Switch has to be on firmware 3.0.0 or lower though.

Homebrew on Nintendo Switch in the future may also be able to prevent the Nintendo Switch from burning eFuses, so that if anyone wants to remove CFW at any time, they could restore the original bootloader and burn the eFuses to the amount that the current OFW requires.

Hm, it's just a thought, but if the eFuses are only checked on boot, it simply would mean that we can't spoof the switch permanently. Don't know what this means for the standby, if they are also checked on wakeup. The other thing is if/when we'll be able to extract the keys from further updates to access the nintendo online services. Can we extract the current keys?
