I live on the lake out at the end of nowhere. There's no cell phone coverage in this area and I currently don't have a landline phone.

So yeah, I would love to have such a feature on my 3DS.

Do you have a wifi connection there? If so you just use a mobile app to do calls. If not then it won't work anyway.

Yeah, I have a Google Nexus 10 with the CSipSimple app and internet, but using a a foot long tablet for calls is so awkward and weird.

Besides, it doesn't work too good on this because of some kind of conflict thingy that I don't remember.

I was hoping that maybe the 3DS would fair better with making calls.

I don't know if it is possible, but it would be nice to have a mobile Java game emulator, to play those old games like Lumines and stuff on the 3DS.

Just a very simple request (in paper at least):
Just swap the rendering (aka, the images displayed) of the lower screen with the upper screen while playing DS games natively.
I mean, many DS games focus in the lower screen, for the weight and design of the 3DS, I prefer to focus in the upper screen, rather than the exact opposite.
I´m glad no one has made a patch to the TWL (or whatever) firm for this, temporary of course, because games that actually focus on the upper screen for the DS exist, like Yoshi´s Island DS and Sonic Colors, for example.

I thought of one! If you have LumaCFW, you should be able to have an option where you'll get notifs (via the 3DS's Notifications software) on software updates and new Homebrew. You should also be able to visit a 3DS-compatible site (meaning assets on the page load) where you can download all the necessary files required to immediately update software from there.

I once had a friend who ported Scid for my Nokia tablet.

I was in chat with him online at the time.

I remember one of the dependencies was "your mother".

It was a complete nightmare for him to compile and I felt really bad after this.

I'm playing Mario and Luigi and I have to tap L or R like, five times just to get to the move I want to use. Can we rewire buttons to do pre-assigned actions?

Say I press ZR and it automatically ends up pressing L 5x for me on its own. That would be helpful. Or maybe in a fighting game pressing Select would automatically spit out a Down Forward Punch command (that I would have recorded and assigned to it).

Basically I'm asking for Logitech Gaming Software (or the Razer equivalent) for 3DS. If somebody could make that I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it.

I just want a native 400x240 H.264 player. I'm not expecting miracles here, but the N3DS has more than enough horsepower to decode an AVC stream with a low bitrate at that resolution.

since here we are talking about ideas, I think I can ask for help .. does anyone know to tell me an emulator that allows you to play local multiplayer between two PCs? (I knew that between an emulator and a normal DS is not possible, so I ask for an emulator between two PCs) Kindly, could you tell me the name of the best emulator for this function, and how to RUN the steps?

If you mean literally between two computers, I believe Citra is more than capable of handling local multiplayer between two computers running the emulator.

If you mean local multiplayer between two 3DSes running an emulator, then I'm not sure if there are any emulators out there that support that. There's a fork of VirtuaNES that allows for multiplayer on one system via controllers, but other than that, I can't think of anything released that supports multiplayer.

There's melonDS, which, while still relatively new, seems to do a good job of emulating DS WiFi features. You're going to need a powerful computer to run it, though, from the looks of it.
