put your sd in your pc and delete your title keys then do this
  1. Google search 3DS titlekeys on your computer
  2. Click the QR code button underneath the heading 'enctitlekeys.bin'
  3. Open up freeShop
  4. Tap the cog icon, then the Update tab
  5. Tick the top checkbox on the touch screen
  6. Tap the little QR code button that is near the top checkbox
  7. Scan the QR code that appeared on your computer screen in step 5
  8. Press Start to exit freeShop
  9. Open up freeShop, and it is ready to use

I have done that - unfortunately no avail. Any other ideas? I did hear someone talking about patched signatures on luma, if you have the option ticked that could be causing the issue? I'm not sure how to identify that though.

Thanks for your help

That doesn't work either. I actually manually installed it the first time yesterday after i installed cfw. It's odd everything else works great but in the e shop after i qr the key it loads all the games, i can download the game then on 99% it says wrong title key.

I found a repeatable bug that will always generate an arm11 crash.

Many people block the following domains on their routers to prevent auto-updates/downloads to the Wii and Wii U:

autumn.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net
c.shop.nintendowifi.net
npdl.c.app.nintendowifi.net
npul.c.app.nintendowifi.net
nus.c.shop.nintendowifi.net
nus.cdn.c.shop.nintendowifi.net
nus.cdn.shop.wii.com
nus.cdn.wup.shop.nintendo.net
nus.wup.shop.nintendo.net
pls.c.shop.nintendowifi.net

As a result, Freeshop is able to browse the store, but when you attempt to download something, it's given a 503 error.

Freeshop can't handle the unexpected data and crashes immediately. Every time.

Unblock the domains, and Freeshop works again.

Is this problem related to my problem above?

But I didn't block anything on my router. Also when I'm using 3.1.7, everything works fine. But in 3.1.8 arm11 crash happened.

This bug only occurs on the 2DSLL/XL?

Seems pretty major. It's this a known issue? Has it been reported by anyone/anywhere else?

A friend is coming over this weekend and we're gonna put CFW and Freeshop on his Japanese import 2DSLL, glad I read this thread. Would hate for him to rant on me a week later when the bug hits.

I don't think this is a known issue. You should use 3.1.7 instead on 2DS LL, and turn off freeshop auto-update (not titlekey auto-update), so the freeshop won't get updated to 3.1.8.

The weird thing is, this didn't happen to my friend's New 3DS and Old 3DS, both using Luma3DS 8.1.1/b9s 1.3. Only happens to me and another friend who are also using New 2DS (Luma3DS 8.1.1./b9s 1.3).

Does it sound similar to https://notabug.org/Paul_GameDev/freeShop/issues/12 ?

Yeah, but I experienced the bug when I tried to Download something. In that link he experienced the bug on 3.1.7.
Well from that link you can see the other 3 open issues. If your issue is not one of those, or one of the closed issues, I would recommend creating an account on that site and reporting it.

This is a bug in 3.1.8 for 2DS LL/XL. But strangely it occured after a week usage in my 2DS LL. My friends who used O3DS and N3DS didn't have this issue on 3.1.8. Weird!

I've installed 3.1.7 and turned off auto-update for Freeshop, and it worked fine. :)

Did you try another sdcard to see if you can replicate the problem? I think the issue is sdcard related. Probably formatting a sdxc card above 32g causes it?

I'm gonna try to put 3.1.8 first on my friends new 2dsLL and see how it goes, then fallback on 3.1.7 in case it goes funky.

I'm using 64 GB btw, tried reformatting, but haven't tried using another microsd. But my friend uses 2DSLL+32 GB and has the same issue.

I'm having a strange issue where freeshop freezes after pressing the home button and I have to force the system to shut down. I also get the ARM11 exception crash when pressing start to exit. The most frustrating thing is I have another 3DS with basically the exact same setup that freeshop works perfectly on. No crash or freezing on either exit methods.

I've tried completely reinstalling freeshop, using older versions, disabling the ARM11 exception handlers. Nothing works. I'm not sure how to figure out what's wrong on the one system and right on the other. They're both regular size New 3DS systems on the latest firmware with the latest Luma and everything, installed by following the 3DS guide website.

If anyone can point me in the right direction to figuring this out it would be much appreciated.

Edit: I have found that the old 2.2.0 version, the one that comes up when you Google freeshop, doesn't have this problem. Don't really want to be stuck using an old version without all the nice features this one has, though.

Edit 2: After quite a bit more searching I was able to figure out that sapphire was causing the problem. After uninstalling it I was able to exit via the home button just fine. I still get the start button crash, however.

And the other 3DS has sapphire installed, so it's weird that it has neither problem. The only significant difference I can think of is that the one without crashing has a 32GB microSD, and the one that does crash has a 64GB microSD. Could that be the issue somehow?

I dont know why, but does your freeshop show Ultra Moon?

EDIT: I did it somehow. I dont know how, but yeah...

Okay, I started a background install for mario kart 7, but then freeshop crashed and I had to restart it. But now the download wont start, yet I cant start a new one as it says I'm out of space. I check the data and I do indeed have less blocks than before. How d I cancel a background download cue?

Reporting a bug, not sure if its known or not. But when I go to game list and scroll down to The Binding of Isaac for example, it doesnt display any update icon at all. Yet I can tap on the part of the screen where it would normally have the update icon and it prompts me to "Delete update data" for The Binding of Isaac. I'm even able to do it again. However this game does ask for a game update on the home menu, which always fails each time. And this is the only game that does this, in my case.
