Mad Catz Makes Its Comeback

Mad Catz, the legendary name is video game products and accessories, is Back in the Game, some nine months after closing their doors.

Proof positive that Mad Catz has at least nine lives, the company is back, under new management, with new ideas, and new products!

We have so much more to share through the year, but suffice to say, the new Mad Catz is dedicated to creating state-of-the-art, high quality products, designed in-house to rival anything available today. At CES 2018, the first in the new range will be unveiled in the form of a range of new PC products.

I've owned madcatz products in the past had a few ps1 controllers that were pretty good I think one of my gamecube controllers that had turbo was a madcatz and had a gamecube memory card by them that was really good I still have it despite no longer having a gamecube. I think it's a little late if they're trying to get back into the console market.

Ehh, Mad catz.
Same as Nyko and other brands.
3rd party rubbish and or useless in me eyes.
I dunno, Nyko had the only extended battery for the 3DS at the time, that worked well enough that I've certainly recommended it to at least a few of my friends to have, and gifted one for my wifey's 3DS. We've both since moved on to N3DS systems, but that was more for upgrade rather than any fault of the quality of the battery.

I believe Mad Catz made the only GameCube wireless controller I liked, seeing that it was the only one that most resembled the Wavebird and retained rumble functionality. That one died last year. :(

"MadCatz, the legendary name"
Has literally anyone ever been positive about madcatz? I mean, more positive than "well, it's the only controller I have, may as well use it"

I stand corrected.

Funny they cut away to all this fighting game footage in that promo but they don't have a new stick or pad.

Every MadCatz product I've ever encountered/used has either been poorly made or break very easily. The GameShark SP for GBA broke. Sega Dreamcast controller, broke. Gamecube controller, broke. Question, are their Fight sticks actually that good? I have never heard good things til today.

Have to follow the fighting game community to really hear anything reguarding fightsticks/arcade sticks but when madcatz was originally in business people mostly liked them over any other companies fightsticks/arcade sticks.

They started the whole fightstick craze during the original street fighter 4 days.

Player 2 garbage that we held with pride, and also for the fact that you could buy a GC controller from them and have enough for a game. So they're sticking to PC hardware, or do you think they would move towards game console accessories too?
