this must be post you were talking about thanks for all your work. So you are saying that homebrew launcher icons work this way? Can you post commands you are using to start that? I can't find much online.

run it from the home folder

go to your home folder, then right click and open terminal then run

./buildsnes9x.sh

make sure you set the script to be executable by right clicking it, properties and going to permissions
still failed, said can't make nothing or something like that.

i officially quit. i got retroarch to show up but then crashed when loading a rom :(

i started from scratch and it worked, thanks for the tip.

still nothing but crashes on the switch side of things though :(

If this is your first time running PegaSwitch on a new console, run the command evalfile usefulscripts/SetupNew.js

From pegaswitch while the switch is connected

i had to do that to get ace.nro to work before. just tried again.

there are so many random crashes, is this normal for now? im very used to buggy beta homebrew but this is like 1 successful launch out about 100 attempts. ive had it crash when loading pegaswitch, on loading the ace.nro, on loading retroarch_switch.nro and everywhere in between.

Wait a rom is in it?
I guess there is, but my post wasn't even about your image (I hadn't looked at it yet, because it's still ubuntu and I already use ubuntu bash on windows). I was referring to someone sharing (or posting a link to) an .nro file. I can't be bothered to go back and see exactly who it was, but, there you have it...

EDIT: Wait. Never mind. I'm thinking of a completely different thread.

looks like you've already added "export LIBTRANSISTOR_HOME=/home/unix/libtransistor" to the end of ~/.bashrc so people don't need to include that in every build command.

So run the rebuild script in the op
That's why it's there man

hey I really appreciate you doing this but I did notice it's not possible to make an updated Ace.nro using the available folder in projects. I thoughts that was kinda odd. Since you have to periodically update this file I think this image is now only useful for snes or other nros but not the ace loader...

I am thinking about updating the script to give you a choice between snes , nes and gba retroarch

Do you have the source link for the ace loader?
