So I purchased another one of these, and my first Magic-NS might be an earlier model, because only the 2nd one I purchased came with a USB C cable. Only the box of the 2nd one I purchased says that it comes with one. My first Magic-NS would only function if I turn on the Switch while the Magic-NS is unplugged, but the 2nd one doesn't have this issue.

Sounds like some kind of glitch or bug if you ask me because I bought one early without any cable and it's constantly left in the dock without problems.

Although you can't make out the text due to the blurry camera I used, one of the boxes says "Rev. 1.1". Try searching "mayflash magic ns 1.1" and there might be a few item listings saying "New version 1.1 - comes with a USB-C to Female USB cable". The reason I bought two of these is because I enjoy the adapter, and I wanted have one for both my PC (to use my left Joy Con) and my Nintendo Switch (to use my Wii U Pro Controller, which works beautifully for the most part), not because I was given an outdated hardware version of the Magic-NS. I didn't think the Magic NS would have a hardware revision.

After a quick google I can't find any evidence of an actual hardware revision anywhere. 1.1 could be a description of a cable pack-in or that the old hardware comes with firmware 1.11 which also sounds strange. Unless you open them up and compare them with some nice pictures that don't look like they're taken underwater I believe we're using the same chips....except you got one that was soaked in acid before shipping. My "outdated hardware" works in the sense that it's always in my dock. Some games like Odyssey was so fucked up I was forced to use the joycons and I never bothered to check if they patched it. I would say I'm using my DS4 half of the time and sometimes I'll just use the joycons.

Rev 1.1 just has a new sticker mentioning Switch Pro Controller mode and USB-C to USB-A adapter and is pre-updated from the factory. There's nothing changed on the inside.

Aside from including a USB C cable in the box, I'm not sure why they'd call it "1.1" if there aren't any noteworthy differences.
how many controllers can be connected to this device at same time??
You can sync more than one controller to Magic NS, probably as many controllers as you want. A wired controller connected to the adapter, and a wireless controller synced to the adapter can be used simultaneously. One adapter per player, though.

Did you install the updated firmware onto your Magic-NS from Mayflash's website? Is your controller paired/connected to the Magic-NS? What games did it work with, if any?

why u dont test by yourself what i write? download demo versions and see yourself , yes i updated stick

Tried the demos for Embers of Mirrim, and Max and the Curse of the Brotherhood, with the adapter plugged to a USB type C cable, and both games properly recognize the controller. I could control my character in those games.

I own one and it's really good ... the only downside is the added latency (about 15ms) I wanted to play rocket league with my ps4 controller but that latency makes it harder.

Strange my Magic-NS doesn't seem to have any noticeable input lag whatsoever. Used it on PC too, without issue.

15ms is not that bad for most people but for high rank Rocket League it's not great. You can easily test it by syncing your joycons and you ps4 controller through Magic NS and in the menu press left on the joy cons and right on the ps4 controller at the same time. you'll see how much faster is the joycons.

Does anyone else have to take there’s out of switch to turn back on once the console has been asleep?
I have that same issue where my Switch has to already be turned on before I plug in my Magic-NS to the dock, or it doesn't work. I can plug a phone to the Switch dock even while the system's turned off, and it will charge.

Yes, I have the same problem with both of mine adapters.

This is the last quote from mayflash support email:

Thanks a lot.
We’ve noticed this problem here and our engineers are working for it.

We will post to our website once we find a solution.

That was 8 days ago.
I've been in contact with them for almost a month and sent them videos and stuff. They are well aware of the problem, but maybe someone else should write to them so they don't forget:)
