    Bye

Hi all, just want to let you know I won't be coming here anymore. Lots of exciting stuff happening in my life that needs full attention (progressing forward in my relationship in the normal expected ways) plus I am not really needed here anymore - I'm not able to help with the site, I haven't...

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

If you are using A9LH (ie you have arm9loaderhax.bin on your SD card root and you don't see funny coloured screens when you boot up your console) then you can follow https://3ds.guide/a9lh-to-b9s

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Just visit the eShop, if the game is the same region as your console. Otherwise, download the update cia and install it with FBI.

What Is The Best Programming Language?

C++ is the least easy to learn first - you have to worry about pointers and memory leaks which are taken care of for you in other languages. Good point though that it is better to learn an OO language first so that it feels natural. I'll change my mind and say Java is best to learn first -...

Hacking Please help. Did I brick my 2DS?

You may not like to follow this advice if it conflicts with anything that TPC or KS say, but in your situation I would : Back up all your saves now Move them onto a PC/cloud storage Make a new NAND backup and copy of your SD card and store on a computer or in cloud storage Restore your very...

Hacking Please help. Did I brick my 2DS?

I think there may be something you can do with your saves - @TurdPooCharger will know. While waiting, I would advise making a NAND backup of what you have now, and a copy of your SD card contents, and keep them safe on your computer. You can restore those later if TPC can tell you how to try...

also gonna install twilight menu in my r4 flashcard
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i dont have an sd card adapter but I have an usb sd card adapter

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
