Suggestion Limiting new users to 1 thread, then a cooldown timer. We also need more staff

One thing I noticed earlier was a spammer also posting in a pre-existing topic, so I think you would also need a cool down on the amount of posts in any given time.

Deadpool 3 - Deadpool and Wolverine

I'm now going to be disappointed if someone doesn't eventually do this parody on Youtube. That said, I'll probably watch Deadpool 3 & Wolverine when it appears on Disney+ about 3 or so months later.

    Hacking Dual nand hdd upgrade?

Iirc the internal HDD requires drives with specific firmware on it when on ofw, this firmware is only compatible with certain HDD models. Easiest alternative I can think of is to use a USB drive. Not sure whether XBL may take issue though, but I haven't heard of anyone being banned via HDD...

    Steam Deck overheating.

I haven't noticed any issues when using mine, although the longest gaming session I recall was playing SA2:B during a heatwave. There are potential factors to consider though, such as personal preferences, maintenance (e.g. if there's allot of dust inside), faulty unit, etc.

    Hacking Bricked Wii Family Edition

One option to consider if you're unable/unwilling to hardmod to restore the NAND is to find a broken Wii where the mobo is fine but it's the ODD or something which is faulty and it's being sold as spares/repair. Bought a region modded SFC where the case was disintegrating but I reused my old...

Anybody here ever shopped at AliExpress???

Generally, AliExpress is fine from my experience, although slightly annoying due to how they handle pricing/parts. The only time I had a significant issue was when the seller tried to pull a scam where they wanted extra money after the sale, I only found out after they gave me fake shipping...

    Rumours of Apple buying Disney.

Apple TV+ is available on non Apple devices such as the Fire Stick, if anything, I'd expect Apple to shutdown Apple TV+ and just have Disney produce all of their content through Disney+. The most 'Apple like' thing I'd expect is for them to completely shut down physical media and force you to...

    Rumours of Apple buying Disney.

Hmmm actually this sounds like an idea Palatine would come up with to fund more Death Stars and increase his control on the Galaxy.

The first retro emulator hits Apple's App Store, but you should probably avoid it

I'm wondering if this app will last, this wouldn't be the first time an app got published only to be removed/restricted later on e.g. C64 and BASIC. IIRC the guidelines do put enough restrictions in place that a 'free for all' emulator may not officially be allowed. My two cents on Android vs...

Anyone else think the world inside Conspiracy theorists heads sounds like a lot of fun?

You could create a conspiracy theory that most conspiracy theories are a conspiracy by the conspiracy to hide the real conspiracy.

Windows 11 might not update if you have these popular apps installed

I don't exclusively use Linux simply because it doesn't run everything I want to run and/or has other issues. For most people though, it's likely because they use whatever their system ships with, look at Chromebooks. The only real chance I see for 'the year of the desktop Linux' to have a...
