Not sure yet, was busy and haven't gotten around to finishing the downloading. So far as exceeded 750GBs, I think it will max out at around 1.5TB or so.
Specifically, I am downloading the entire contents of the NTSC WiiU eShop. Games, apps, updates.
I have not checked this out myself yet but I am very interested to see if this results in major community overhauls or mods. New BOTW content would be real nice to have, especially if it could be something substantial.
I am having a hard time getting it to work at all. No FMV played before the main menu, and choosing New Game brings me to a black screen that never goes away.
Also tried the Power Stone Collection on the newest build and while that does work, there are some issues on default settings. Trying to...
Wow, what? I was not aware this happened.
Luckily mine still works and I had the idea to start downloading everything available on the eShop to prepare for the day when Nintendo shuts down the Wii U servers. Not done yet, but just about half finished.
Is there an estimate on how much space this program needs to finish an injection? I've been trying to throw together Rune Factory Frontier so I can avoid needing to open vWii all the time, but even with 10GBs free I'm running out of space and failing.
If I could figure out a way to force the...
I think it would be fine as long as you were to check that the Wad was A) Official and B) that it was downloaded correctly, and not damaged or corrupt. I installed La Mulana to my vWii without issue, and was planning on doing more games once i found ones I wanted.
hate to bug folks about it, but is nobody able to help me with my issue? I have tried everything short of wiping the entire SD card to fix this problem, and I'm approaching the point where I might need to if I want to play anything with Retroarch. Waiting on a replacement gamepad battery to ship...
well I waited a while and I guess that person isn't coming back. so my issue with Retroarch at the moment is that after launching it through the HBL or the forwarder it seems to work fine. I can't navigate the menus, though. Does it require the WiiU gamepad for menu navigation? The battery in...
Redownload the game and try installing again. If you have leftover data from the broken install attempt that won't delete, download a small demo from the eShop and try deleting the broken data again.
Thanks for the tip, but I figured out how to fix the issue.
I went to the eShop and downloaded a smallish demo(106MB) and installed it. Played the game for a few minutes(it was pretty fun actually. Color Zen!) and then went back to Data Management. Wii U spit out the usual garbage data warning...
Yeah, it's deleting data on the internal memory. Just trying to avoid bricking the console. lol
Yep, I saw that warning. Been well over an hour now
EDIT: After several tries, I can't seem to clear the old data out. I'm missing over 10GBs of internal storage at the moment.
Another question; how long does it take a Wii U to erase garbage files from a failed install? Been waiting for over an hour, and since there is no progress bar I have no idea what it is doing.
