So, I try to load USB Loader GX and I see that the application startup process gets stuck at "Reloading to Config file's cIOS". I thought it was something else so I reload the app and I notice that the cIOS being used for some reason is cIOS 245, which I don't have. I tried deleting the files for USB Loader GX and getting fresh files from "https://sourceforge.net/projects/usbloadergx/files/latest", but the same issue pops up. What should I do?

Either delete the GXGlobal.cfg file or change the loader IOS back to 249 with a text editor. It should default to 249 if there's no config. Also make sure the <arg> tags in meta.xml didn't get uncommented.

I already tried deleting the GXGlobal.cfg file and I tried the 249 in the meta.xml, not the GXGlobal file. I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks!

if it's after "Reloading to Config file's cIOS", then it's the setting from GXGlobal.cfg
maybe you have more than one GXGlobal.cfg ? (SD, USB ? if you delete the one on SD, it searches and loads the one found on USB if you have one)

No, I have no apps on my USB and is it possible that it accidentally is running another boot.dol for USB loader gx? I have another DOL for the Channel version which i never installed using a WAD Manager.

No, don't install the UNLR channel version. You want the UNEO v5.1 channel. It boots the loader from SD/USB when you run it and it's what you need for the return-to function to work.

You may have a /config/ folder with the settings file in it, too.

Ahh, whatever I just found an old SD card that had all the files. I'll run it in the Wii whenever I can. Thanks anyway. Also, how do you close a thread as in "Mark as Resolved."

Thanks, man! I did what you told me to do and it's finally working again! I was nearly considering restoring my NAND backup to erase anything that I did!

Hello.:)

The file "GXGlobal.cfg" is located on the Wii´s SD-Card in

\apps\usbloader_gx\

You can access it from your PC to put your Wii´s Sd Card in an Card Reader and open the Folder with Windows Explorer and open the File with Windows Notepad or Editor (if you are using a Windows Pc of course.:))

Thank you.:)
