Homebrew Custom Firmware applications deleted and won't install after trying to update game. Please help!!!

I was installing custom firmware on my 2ds and everything went well up until I tried updating my game cartridge. After I tried updating my game, the applications for custom firmware, like luma3ds, FBI, and Anemone, were suddenly deleted and when I tried reinstalling them, I got the message, "failed to install cia file" and "result code 0xC8E08001". Homebrew launches still, but if I have the sd card in my system, godmode9 doesn't boot up unless I take it out. Please help this CFW noob.

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
