So I bought this new 16 gig sdcard to replace my 4 gig one that holds all my roms since i wanted this one game but it was too big for the 4g (MH4U). I had to format the 16g to NTFS since the game was larger than 4g, so i transferred that and all my other files that were in the 4g and when I pressed select to choose a rom, it just showed the filesystem error. Do I have to make the 16g FAT32? Cuz the 4g is FAT32 and is working perfectly fine whenever I use it.

Do I have backup something?,because all I did was transfer all the files to the 16g.

The 3ds (not sure about gateway, but most likely) only recognizes Fat32. I recommend using guiformat or another 3rd party formater to make it into a Fat32 card. As for putting the rom onto the card the only thing that comes to mind is separating it into zip files and extracting them once on the sd card. As an alternative use a FTP if possible.

FAT32 is not needed for GateWay and NTFS is not supported, you need to format as ExFAT, ExFAT supports files larger than 4GB like MH4U.

The Gateway Card MicroSD supports FAT32 and ExFAT, that is it.
