Apple How to change No Service to a custom Logo

I upgraded from a iPhone 3G to and iPhone 4G a few weeks ago and have been using the 3G as an iPod around the house. Is there any way to change the No Service to a custom one? I tried MakeItMine off of Cydia but it did not work. I am really tired of seeing the No Service logo.

I presume you're using iOS 4.2.1, which broke MakeItMine.

Fake Operator and FakeCarrier are known to work in iOS 4.2.1.
