Soo, I was planning on getting a Sky3DS+ but then I saw all these complicated things about a private header to play online and needing a powersave to do it. Its all too confusing for me but uh, am I able to make a private header without a powersave?

You can use a fw 9.2 set or below to access the gateway 3ds GUI software to dump the original game card of yours to .3ds format to extract the header.
