Hi there, Im learning how to develop computer games and Im looking for an program for developing RPGs, ARPGs, Platform games. Is there any begginner friendly program for these purposes?

P.S.: Sorry if my English is bad, Im Brazilian.

I don't know if these are the types of programs you are looking for but here are two I used to use.

RPG Maker:
Pro: Once you get the hang of it it's really easy to make an RPG with it
Con: Your game is generic and feels like the other games made in RPG maker so your game doesn't feel special.

Scratch:
Pro: VERY easy to make a game
Con: The quality looks like a cheaply made flash game


Though now I use programs like unity and game maker and just follow online tutorials as I make the games.

I strongly suggest picking up Visual C++, a good game-oriented library and a tutorial. Alternatively, you could try some of the fancy engines, like Unreal or Unity. If you just want to doodle, any Game Maker will do - we've all been there.

I know this topic is concluded, but I made a Zelda clone with this years ago.

Its not just drag and drop, it uses an object based scripting kinda like java. I think it would be best for learning to make games if you have little to no programming experience.
