Congrats on achieving this, both nailing down GSDD and getting to version 1.0.0 ! 🥳 I'm very impressed by what you, and of course everyone else who's helped out, have been able to figure out and accomplish.
Would it be possible to have this on the front page, @ShadowOne333? 👍
I'm very grateful for the amount of work you've put into this and surprised I didn't discover it until now.
Imo these patches and the whole story behind them deserve to get on the front page.
What do you think, @FAST6191?
A great effort and always good to have more people preserve this. I'd like to point out that not all games were preserved like this. Throughout the years titles have already been taken down from the eShop. This is why you'd want regular preservation.
Wasn't Unreal Tournament 4's source code released because they abandoned it when Fortnite became big?
Also, anyone wanna fill me in on what the current reasons for Epic being bad are? What is it doing worse than Steam. Just curious and want some input, since I figure normally you'd want there...
I too am more convinced of the narrative that Nintendo wants some kind of tyrannic control over everything that could be connected to their brand/brands.
However, I still would like to know their side of this, but as most articles state, Nintendo does not have any intentions of making any...
Switzerland. Had to google it:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40399585/format-numbers-with-apostrophe-as-thousands-separator
Was that this tournament? Thought that was another one the Ninjas had already taken care of.
"Taisuke Sasaki, a former Dragon Quest XI middleware manager, and Fumiaki Suzuki, a former Dragon Quest X event programmer."
Just googled it. From thegamer.com
My best guess would be the Dragon Quest duo getting hold of the info first, because Dragon Quest. Yuji Naka seems like the odd one out...
RocketRobz is indeed more than qualified for the legendary status.
Here's to hoping Nintendo hears us all and makes that console a reality (but hopefully nds-bootstrap and TWiLightMenu++ will continue seeing development after that).
Yes, this works very well on your DSi if you have CFW and unlaunch. You can use a flashcard but you will only get the quality you'd get with a DS/Lite.
I appreciate you warnings, man! I've already finished this game on real HW with two buds so I'm well aware of all those restrictions. The thought of higher internal res and cleaner textures is what tempts me to do a second playthrough.
I think you can even get those bonuses with some cheats...
Nice, thanks for sharing that info @Sonic Angel Knight! Looking back my post was unclear, but I am indeed talking about getting local multiplayer up and running and with some more HD visuals added. Square Enix isn't releasing the remaster they should so MelonDS is doing an amazing job.
Yep...
I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol
@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero
but most recently, there was one that actually generates a working unity scene with terrain and textures already set up that you can import right into unity, that's a huge time saver right there
