Feedback Homebrew Misc eshop access sysCFW and sysOFW/Stock

It's always safest to be on OFW when accessing the e-shop. Stock=1 *should* still safe, because no sysmodules or patches are loaded, but not many people would put themselves on the line by telling you that. sys CFW, is a huge danger zone. Technically it is safe as long as you NEVER install an...

Hacking Question, is there any progress on a V2 softmod exploit?

But there was a whole lot of progress on the mod chips. They still aren't any easier to install, but since the method was thoroughly cracked, and people figured out how to do it with various RP2040 chips, the price has come waaay down. If you're spending $20 right now on a chip, you're spending...

Homebrew Homebrew app sys-patch - sysmod that patches on boot

Through the overlay. Are you familiar with using tesla menu, and have you installed the sys-patch overlay? If so, you can look at the sys-patch log through the overlay. If it's green, sys-patch found and took care of it. If it's orange, it was already patched with sigpatches. If it's red, it...

Delta emulator now available on the App Store for iOS

I mean... it's the title of this thread, isn't it? Not sure why people sideloading don't just use Provenance. It works on iPAD as well as AppleTV. And has way more Emulator cores, to include Mame and stuff from retroarch. Granted, it's pretty much beta and some features like cheats are broken...

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

Sorry for jumping in without going back to find out... but are you launching with a game cart inserted? Does removing it make a difference? I mean... since you've booted OFW, it shouldn't really matter, unless your emummc is a really old version (using sxos would be the only reason I can think...

Homebrew Homebrew app sys-patch - sysmod that patches on boot

Wow. I was initially trying to help. So, if YOU are the one who can’t figure out how to make it work for you, but I am a “nimrod”… what does that make you? You literally said that you turned off your router’s wifi, while complaining that you couldn’t connect. That’s just about the dumbest thing...

Homebrew Homebrew app sys-patch - sysmod that patches on boot

disabling internet does not mean disabling wifi. How do you expect to connect to wifi that isn't even there? And to think, I edited my first response because I thought I misread, and wanted to give you the benefit of doubt... but I was right the first time. :nayps3: One more time: If the...

Homebrew Homebrew app sys-patch - sysmod that patches on boot

EDIT: I just re-read your post. Yes, you should be allowed to add a wifi network with internet disabled, with the ctest patch working. Do you have the standard host file for dnsmitm? And you aren't actually disabling wifi then trying to add a network? Does it connect in OFW with internet turned on?

Homebrew Homebrew app sys-patch - sysmod that patches on boot

It says it's off for me too. But all patches are orange, so the sigpatches are already taking care of everything. Just look at your logs, and if it says everything is patched (except for es6, if your build of syspatch has it in there, and you are on fw 18), or es7 if not on fw18). If it's all...

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

because you turned the setting off. Now, didn't I start off with "As long as they are working and STAY WORKING"? Before the repo went down, there was an issue about this very thing. Deleting the logs was the solution. EDIT: Or maybe I'm not getting enough sleep. I seem to have completely missed...

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

The color will not change once it works and stays working. The logs don't get completely rewritten every time you boot. Delete your logs and see what color it is. Your "belief" doesn't negate reality.

What do yall think of RFK Jr ?

What are you rambling on about now? Just how did Trump handle the pandemic any worse than Biden? How can you talk so much smack against anti-vaxers, and in the same breath talk smack about the guy who is responsible for operation warp speed? If there's anything at all you need to give Trump...

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Huh? The post says that RCM is not detected. I'm wondering if the serial number was actually checked to see if it's a patched Switch.

Homebrew Homebrew app sys-patch - sysmod that patches on boot

Are you saying that it doesn't work as-is? I think it works just fine. "must" is a strong word... *pull request... but people with certain types of jobs maybe shouldn't be establishing an account on a Russian web page...

OLED getting D0 error but I have correct diode voltage

It's likely not a resistor issue with that chip, but I have no experience with that chip. Does it accept firmware from https://github.com/Ansem-SoD/Picofly/tree/main/Firmwares ? It's not something that's listed in the readme, but I'm going to jump the gun and assume that there's no way a real...

OLED getting D0 error but I have correct diode voltage

yea, the exact model is needed. If you bought an instinct v6s, for instance, that is NOT a picofly, and doesn't require resistors. If it IS a picofly, did you read through the .pdf picofly install guide from this page?

OLED getting D0 error but I have correct diode voltage

what resistors did you use on the picofly? A lot of people had to double up the 47ohm, or use a 100ohm, on both dat0 and CMD. Then again, if you just went and did that first, then maybe you want to try the 47ohm route...

"Dump Joi-Con BT" problem when installing Android

Disconnect your joycons to avoid confusion. If they work wirelessly while on stock firmware, nyx shouldn't have any issues with dumping the pairing. Yes, you can pair them within Android. I don't know if the pairing remains permanent that way, though...
