I think they adjusted the FOV in the game to achieve this look. You can change fov in the game options.
I think I went through vb4, 5, 6 then asp 3 classic. Once I went web and intranet apps I never looked back because the web was so much easier than console executables that you had to compile

Funny story about the videos. I had my Wii testing emulator on screen record (without knowing) for a couple months until my harddrive filled up. When I realised I started uploading them to yt. None of them have sound or proper titles.

Remember to test it with the default settings (hit reset all if you changed it). Then test it with whatever other settings you feel is necessary. Select Wii wheel and active in the motion-cntrls menu to use. I think it should be obvious to most people but any feedback helps. I can never be...

There are lots of open source games out there that aren't ported to the Wii because porting them is more work than just writing a new game. There aren't many people who even understand how open source games work much less why some get ported and not others. It's a huge time suck to make these...
It's made specifically for Wii homebrew. It's much easier to make games if you don't have to worry about 10 different platforms with 10 different screens/controllers.
