Initial Mig Switch flashcart units now available and being tested by reviewers

There should be no way kill the console this time around as CFW is needed to write to the NAND and bypass code signature checks. Worst it could do is to brick itself.

Non-authorized third party Xbox controllers and accessories soon to be blocked

It won’t since they use legit controllers to bypass any legitimacy/authenticity checks. Those devices have to be detected in game by having the game monitor the controller input data for any discrepancies between what a real controller looks like what data they are actually being sent. This...

Dual-screen handheld gaming PC AYANEO Flip DS "leaked"

Definitely cool as a way to play DS and 3DS in higher resolutions but my New 3DS XL with MugenPower’s extended battery shits all over this for runtime and has perfect compatibility with games and can accept actual game cartridges for DS and 3DS.

Homebrew Homebrew app Switchfin: Jellyfin client for Nintendo Switch

With Plex trying to block users running on VPS solutions (Hetzner so far, more are likely to come), it is nice to see a client like this come out for those of us who want to ditch Plex.

Spyro: Year Of The Dragon Infamous Anti-Piracy Protection Defeated With GsmeShark Codes Thx To MottZilla

Tripping Anti Tamper sucks as I want to play with the double jump hack and 100% the game. The mottzilla patch doesn’t cut it for this or the widescreen code. Really sucks that over 20 year old anti tamper code not intended to block mods years later is doing so. At least the double jump patcher...

Hacking vWii Decaffeinator - Restore vWii without a NAND Backup

I gave up on this with my Europe Wii U as I couldn’t at the time use a gamepad as it fails updating and disconnects. This prevents me from updating using the system settings once I blasted everything with decaffeinator without pulling out DRC sim and the headache that is. I used decaffeinator...

"Sonic Free Riders" gets an unofficial "No Kinect" patch 13 years after its release

Even if they can’t, it should be possible to spoof it with a DashLaunch patch or DashLaunch plugin if anyone would bother to make a patch or plugin. Maybe this Sonic patch would be enough for someone to bother to write a patch or plugin for it. Until this patch game out, there was zero reason to...

[UPDATE] Emulators are back and running in Xbox Series' Retail Mode

What worries me about playing cat and mouse with retail mode is Microsoft just straight up removing Dev mode in retaliation. Companies don’t learn so pulling an OtherOS move is something Microsoft would do and then pretend to not regret it later when the system ends up compromised.

    Hacking Nintendont

I can’t seem to find any premade overclock forwarders for Nintendont specifically. I am trying to find information on making my own forwarder. Also, Spyro is CPU bound so it makes a big difference in FPS on Dolphin increasing CPU speed so I am hoping for better than stock results when done on a...

    Hacking Nintendont

I have found little info on if Nintendont can work with Cafe2Wii. Is Nintendont compatible and if so how do I run it via with C2W enabled. I have a few games that would benefit from the CPU speed, some massively like Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly and was hoping to try it out.

Nintendo apologizes for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet performance problems, new patch released

At least then Nintendo’s online functionality will have caught up to what Sony and Microsoft offer now.

Logitech's new cloud handheld gaming device releases next month, will retail for $350

Locked bootloader and no way to unlock it is pretty much guaranteed at this point. If I could root it or put a custom rom on it I would get it at a $100-$150 price tag as that would be a better option than the Razer Kishi grips for smartphones.

The company behind Denuvo launches its "Nintendo Switch Emulator Protection", claims to "solve" Switch piracy

That is simply not true for a lot of pirates. Any price is too high for some people. People pirate TV shows and Movies even if you can get them in a 5$ value bin at a retail store. I am sure price does matter in countries where a game is a full month’s paycheck but for other countries it is...
