    I managed to follow the guide and have a .nds with the banner and titles I want but here is where I am stumped: The NTRboot .bin I have seems to very different to the .nds game it uses so I don't see where I can copy and paste the banner and titles. It's only 4MB too which doesn't seem right.

    Tried it for the first time in a while and with frameskip set to 1, I've had great luck with all the games (including Gameboy/Gameboy Color) I tried. Thanks Endrift!

    I have a similar crash with Bye-Bye Box Boy which is the same region as my 3DS, I haven't tried every game but so far that's the only one that crashes for me.

    I had the no sound issue once on n3DS, was pretty random and I thought it was a problem with the rom because it had never happened before. Only happened once though - so probably unrelated to your issue. Seems like a very strange bug.

    If it's for the gpSP core have you put gba_bios.bin in the retroarch/cores/system folder? Most of the other cores should work without a bios though so not sure what the problem could be for them.
