Emunand is basically what it says, emulating the firmware of the latest one, meanwhile finding a way to running on actual firmware needs some effort to discover because it's hard to get in, and it's quite a pain to find it...

    I'm glad that means the flashcarts will support 6.3 consoles in no time, especially when I heard that any 3DS with 4.5 firmware will be hard to find. This might mean I can buy a spare 3DS XL, or even a 2DS to boot the exploit.

    One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

    Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
