Hacking A Story Behind Team SALT

Just to outline some more information, the member that shiny was banned for continuing to talk to was Dazzozo, who it had been revealed earlier had been exchanging sexual messages with someone under the age of consent or something like that. Shiny should've included that in the post, if only to...

There isn't really a way to follow those pages on a EUR DSi, unless you already have sudokuhax

Homebrew [RELEASE] DSi Homebrew Guide Website!

We're not exactly "competing", as far as I see it. We have the same goal of providing clear directions for anyone who doesn't know where to start, we're both just providing our own implementations of the same concept. Maybe that is competition, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that we're...

Homebrew [Release] TempNand - A simple nand manager for DSI

You're not supposed to select your nand backup. When you get to fwtool on your DSi, there should an option that says Dump CID.bin (or something like that). What you should do is select that option in fwtool, then put your sd card back in your computer and find the file called CID.bin on your...

Homebrew [RELEASE] DSi Homebrew Guide Website!

They said they used the old guide on their DSi XL, so I'm guessing they either imported a USA DSi XL or hardmodded it. If they hardmodded the XL, they can likely also hardmod their regular DSi, or if it's an imported USA XL, the regular might also be imported

Homebrew [RELEASE] DSi Homebrew Guide Website!

The old pages are still there, if you want to install sudokuhax manually, you can find the instructions at https://dsiguide.me/exploit_installation and, if you want the old downgrading instructions, you can find them at https://dsiguide.me/downgrading However, I'd like to point out that...

Homebrew [Release] TempNand - A simple nand manager for DSI

The file you're trying to open is a nand backup, you're using the wrong file. The file you need for getting the console ID can be obtained by going to system settings, then data management, and then clicking any app there and choosing "copy to SD". After that, turn off your console, put your SD...

Homebrew [Release] TempNand - A simple nand manager for DSI

A couple of things: First, try simply opening it again TempNand, it might work a second time. If that doesn't work, download the attached file and rename it from console ID.bat.txt to console ID.bat and put it in your TempNand folder. Then, drag the file you got from your DSi onto console...

Homebrew [Release] TempNand - A simple nand manager for DSI

You don't need to find another computer, there's a 32 bit version of twltool here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-twltool-dsi-downgrading-save-injection-etc-multitool.393488/page-12#post-5614792 Download the zip attached to that post and open it, and drag twltool.exe from there to your...

Homebrew [Release] TempNand - A simple nand manager for DSI

That error's happening because the version of twltool in the folder is only for Windows 64 bit, not windows 32 bit or mac/Linux. What's your operating system? I can try to find the appropriate version for you

Homebrew Unlaunch DSi | First public bootcode exploit for DSi

I made a version of an sd image for NO$GBA for you here. Extract the file attached to this post to your NO$GBA folder, and open your nand in NO$GBA. see if it boots a blank homebrew menu (it's blank cuz the sd image has the homebrew menu but no actual homebrew) If it hangs on NO$GBA, try...

Homebrew Unlaunch DSi | First public bootcode exploit for DSi

It's interesting that the problem isn't affecting the homebrew menu on the actual console. There's probsbly some software difference on how they read the sd

Homebrew Unlaunch DSi | First public bootcode exploit for DSi

That's interesting, but I guess it makes sense. Does using an SD in No$GBA work for your console?

Homebrew [Release] TempNand - A simple nand manager for DSI

You might not be installing the version for your DSi's region (shouldn't be a problem if you're running Unlaunch, but might be otherwise). Make sure that both the region of the .app and the short ID and correct, if the short ID is incorrect it's unlikely the app will appear. Before you flash it...

Homebrew Unlaunch DSi | First public bootcode exploit for DSi

Ok, try this First, save your nand for no$GBA and placeit in your No$GBA folder. There should be a zip in that same folder that's called dsi-1.SD or something like that. Open it up, place the file inside the zip in the no$gba folder, mount the file inside with osfmount, and add a Homebrew file...

Homebrew Unlaunch DSi | First public bootcode exploit for DSi

That's probably a problem with your sd, since unlaunch works fine without it. Unlaunch will automatically boot any homebrew file on your SD with the name bootcode.dsi, so if you have a file with that name that isn't a homebrew .nds file, you'll probably fail to boot. If that's not the problem...
