It's the SD card, it's faulty. I copied over the files over to a second brand new SD card I got today and everything worked fine, only two differences with the cards are: One was 64G and the other is 32G (Both is FAT32 after formatting them) and the second difference is the 64G was a micro SD...
Well I got the 3ds a few months ago already installed with CFW and was told back then if I wanted to upgrade the SD card all I would need to do is copy and past the files over. With the SD card that came with the 3DS if I boot the 3ds with Start+Power or Select+power button I get these on...
Oh s*** you are right! Can you send me a link for it?

I'm going to start from scratch on new SD card in this case with the following stuff.

Yeah I took a look at it and did that before the copy and past > I'm not firmly on FAT32 > 32 cluster. So if I brick/ black screen again it's ether boot is failing OR Fake card in witch I will get a refund for if that's the case via eBay protect.
At least I know the 32G card coming is from the...
ThoD: But I am sure I have the boot file, when I try to just start from fresh with the 3 bits of software brew load up on boot and then at main screen it says I have no SD card inserted/ SD cannot be read. Is it because it's a micro SD with an adaptor?
Senkun: I will give that format ago again...
I also tried having the cluster set to 32 and that still shave me the same problem. But I've also ordered a 32sd card to see if that will work, if it don't something has gone wrong somehow even though I can't see how a simple Copy past would fail even after formatting to fat32 :$
So I managed to format the SD Card to FAT32 - Copied over all the files - inserted the SD card into the 3DS - Black screen. Am I missing something?
The 64GB SD card was a micro card that has an adaptor to be able to insert it into the 3DS.
When I did the format on the SD card I set cluster 64+...
I see what you mean now! I managed to format the SD card to FAT32. However, when I boot up the system it load blank? What would be the best cluster size to pick for a 64GB SD?
It is yeah, let me just double check - will screen shot it too for you

I've just checked and its exFAt - I have no option to format as FAT32? :O

I only have these two to pick from o.O
I think something went wrong? I did this the very simple thing of coping the files and data over. However, when I insert the new card into the system I get "The SD card cannot be read" The SD Card is a Micro SD with an adaptor to fit perfectly into the system. Any idea why it won't load? Little...
You got a good chance of buying a used one and asking the seller how often they used or even ask for a picteof not updating just tell them don't update
