Would the OP's mod be the same on an AGS CPU 10 board?

I was fooled by a lot of Youtube videos into thinking that you could just put the new screen on the old board I have no experience soldering or working with circuit boards so am totally out of my depth here!
It is same I have modded one AGS-CPU-10.

Before I have a crack at this, does anyone have a schematic for the mod, I'd feel more confident if I had one.

Also, OP, what heat did you set your soldering iron to and what did you use to cut away that small section of the case?

Even though i am not the original poster, i can make a few suggestions based on my own experiences with the mod. TO cut the trace, you can use a cutting blade. Just make sure you are using a fresh piece so there are no dull points. You will need a well lit area and preferably a magnifier, since there are other traces nearby.

As for the soldering iron, i believe you should use no more than 25-30 Watt to avoid damaging any components. In my mod i used a 30 watt iron, just make sure you fit it with a very fine tip

Firstly, thanks for the tutorial, I have an AGS-001 here unused (because your screen has crashed) and I got a new screen for it (AGS-101), but the image is dark (due to lack of power required).

I need help to find the component (Pololu 12V Step-Up Voltage Regulator U3V12F12) in another place of sale.
Would you have the link of the same product on Aliexpress for sale?

I live in Brazil and because the shipping cost (above 38 dollars) is impractical for me, already via aliexpress would be cheaper and simpler to buy..

Thank you for your help.

This is closest item to pololu on Aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2PC...lgo_pvid=47672af0-6ad1-4dfc-ba5a-5f7791100d85

It is bigger than pololu so you might need to cut more plastic from the casing to fit it in.

Thank you very much, making the purchase right now (it will arrive here in a maximum of 60 days, I will have to handle the anxiety until then ehehe).

One more question (sorry if I'm abusing your generosity) in the image below:

Where is soldering on the board the wire that is connected in VOUT? Is it connected anywhere, like "ground"?

PS:
Sorry for not having the image attached or in the post, I believe that due to having few posts in the forum, the protection system does not let me attach image or paste links in my posts ...

In that point there is a hole that connect to the retro of the mother board, you need to tuck the wire in there and solder to the Leftmost pin on the display connector

Sorry but I did not understand.
The image below shows where I still do not know where to weld the wire:

Reading what you explained to me, it would be here the place then:

Many thanks for your patience and explanation, sorry for any mistake of agreement or lack of understanding on my part.

Wire is not soldered there, it goes through hole on the motherboard and it is soldered to display connector.

Yes, this is the hole

Many thanks for the patience and the answer, so it's that "hole" where I should solder the thread and not the last pin, correct?

Tomorrow I will begin the process of welding wire while waiting to get the piece (within 60 days) and post pictures here, I think it will be helpful to both me (can ask questions) and for others in the future will make this process.

It's not that hole, this image is more clear:

Wire goes through the hole.
