Okay. It's not a secret that Team Xecuter has done something to the switch, allowing for CFW to be ran, regardless of what fw you run...

What do you think this mod is? Is it hard or soft modding, and is it reversible?

I personally think that it is going to be hardware mods, probably along the lines of Jtag, and RGH. But what do you guys think?

i think its gonna be a device that you clip on the emmc and flash it via USB
the switch it built too tight to house any thing else inside it.

this is the switch emmc https://i.imgur.com/qYDfZbZ.jpg

thats just my opinion

no one knows anything about it yet. but im 99% sure its hardmod
At best it would clip between the eMMC and the main board. You can't just flash the eMMC without the console-unique keys, can't get those without a hardmod on the system while it's running.

I think its gonna replace the micro sd card slot and you will have to solder wires to other parts of the system then close up and it will do its thing like dumping the keys on boot and then letting you take them repack then in a file you make then put it back on the memory card and flash. its the only thing I think they can do but lets keep speculating and see what others think.

Key's aren't unique to each system, so this wouldn't make sense to have to purchase something from them to complete. If they get the keys, that means they have the files already and we would just be purchasing the files.

Actually there are keys on the switch that are console unique. Not all of them, but there are some

Most likely it's a device that takes advantage of the four corners magnet exploit. If you hold all four corners of the screen while booting it up and then place a neodymium magnet in the back dead center you can boot anything you want.,

Instructions unclear, magnets were too strong!

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
