Welcome to 3DS Retail Game Essentials! This is the place where you can make your opinion on retail 3DS games matter, as well as get a collective suggestion of what games to buy next! First, some rules...

Spoiler: Rules

1. Above all, do not vote for games that you haven't played or haven't been released yet! Seriously, this is just common sense, and yet it has happened multiple times. If I catch you voting for an unreleased game, I'll disregard not only that vote, but the rest of the votes in the same post, and I'll be more skeptical of votes you make in the future. Remember this thread is designed to help people choose decent games, and voting for games that you've never played undermines that, and is thus unfair to everybody.
2. Do not vote for eShop titles, please. This thread is dedicated to retail games only. You can find a dedicated eShop Essentials thread here.
3. Do not vote twice for the same game. Please try to keep track of your posts!
4. Try to limit posts to those about the topic at hand (3DS essential games and voting for them). I understand if posts get off topic briefly, but try not to start whole discussions/flame-wars about why Ocarina of Time 3D is a lazy port (just as an example). There is a personal messenger and a whole forum for that.
5. You cannot downvote games. Downvotes used to be allowed, but this has since changed since it was decided it was overall less accurate, since far fewer people downvote games than upvote games. If you dislike a game, simply don't vote for it.
6. Building up on rule 5, you can, however, cancel your vote on a game if you change your mind about it (on second thought you don't like it, etc). Just make sure to quote/link the original post where you upvoted the game, as proof.
7. Include the full title of the game in your post (id est, "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D," not "Zelda 3D"). Also, if you don't see the game you're upvoting on the list yet, include the genre of the game in your post, please. This makes it much easier for me to add the genre of the game when tallying votes with the extremely limited time I have. If you have trouble identifying the genre, you can usually find it pretty easily on sites like Wikipedia. Here's an example...
