Gaming Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition officially announced.

They also stated the Royal Edition content will not be included for free for season pass holders and will be priced at a later date. Source

This new edition comes with a release date of March 6th 2018 for both PS4, Xbox One and includes the PC port. They also released PC specs for the game as well.

Small correction, it turns out the original $19.99 DLC price to get the new content was put out as a mistake. Square Enix said they're still deciding what to price it at.

That's good news. It really shouldn't cost season pass holders extra IMO.

Yeah, honestly, it should be free even for base game owners, and at the very least for those with the season pass. Doesn't really seem like DLC content to me, as it's a base addition to the Royal/Windows editions.
