That doesn't mean the data files couldn't be ported over. It just might take extra effort because of byte ordering differences.

For a similar example: https://github.com/PiKeyAr/sadx_dreamcast - porting the original Dreamcast textures and models from Sonic Adventure (which ran on an SH4 CPU) to the 2004 Windows version.

People was able to import a model from ARMS to Smash 4. Like, I don't expect to MK8D files to magically works with the Wii U architecture (I really don't know how it works, so I can be saying shit), but if someone manage to extract the files it can somehow works.

Yep, I don't expect things like double items or the new battle modes but imports of characters and/or stages is a possibility. (People are starting to import custom characters/stages now)

It's not fake, give it a few days for them to appear. First dumps of any system are normally shared on private and encrypted servers, FTP, etc. It's always been the same like it was before torrents, as releases appeared on usenet early.

I know I do have my own sources within the field and do use FTP and I have no knowledge yet of any Switch dumps coming through as yet
