i cant believe the people who did this, piracy is gonna end the switch im so ashamed of this toxic community sometimes, another psp situation smh. if were lucky piracy will happen after the gen is over so my friend nintendo wont suffer from lost sales. cant imagine all the third party publishers looking at this thread right now already dropping switch support.

The ps4 has public kernel exploits, loads of games dumps and they dont seem to have the issues you are moaning about.

PSP did great before and after piracy. If a system is good, it will still sell software regardless of piracy.

Catridges usually use a Read Only Memory (ROM) for the game and another writeable memory for saves,
in 3DS, if I'm not mistaken, it was EERPROM.

It might use ROM as an extension, since pretty much every catridge game has used it.
There are some platforms that have .bin extensions, but they also usually have .rom as well
