Hardware Freesync

Been trying to play Grid 2 on my PC with Freesync monitor.
When freesync is on i get 60 fps and it looks all stuttery abd flickery.
When freesync is off i get constant 144 fps (my monitor's max hz, but vsync and freesync off) and it looks great.
Any idea?

Well yes it is enabled, then i get terrible performance. When i turn it off, everything is ok

What is the Freesync range of your monitor? If you go below or above the range, you won't get the benefit of the feature, and will throw back to regular v-sync implementations.

My range is 48hz-144hz.
If i get above it, vsync should cap it at a144 and thats it.
But i dont get above, as i said with freesync on i get approx. 60 fps and off i get 144 fps.

What about other games? Do they work fine with Freesync on? Maybe there's something going on with Grid 2.

Ok so it seems ok now.
Seems i needed to reboot the pc for the changes.
Now the fps is capped to 100 like i chose and freesync works
