Homebrew Gamecube Disc won't stay put in the Wii.

I have a Wii, no Gamecube backwards compatibility. Everytime I put a Gamecube disc in to back up, it spits it out.

Lemme guess. I can only rip Gamecube games on Wiis with Gamecube compatibility?

Yep. The drives in the newer Wiis don't have the mechanism to center GC discs.

They can be modded though. Tueidj modded his to read GC discs, there's a missing bit of plastic that you can fill in with epoxy or something. Probably not worth the effort just to dump games.

I wouldn't risk it. It's likely to get stuck in the drive. Those are generally for tray-loaders.
