Android Gamevice with emulators?

Title basically, kinda wanna get a Gamevice, but I'd pretty much only be interested in using it with emulators (Reicast, PPSSPP, DTouch etc.). Can't really find anything on it (other than jailbroken iOS stuff) and Gamevice itself only really pushes their proprietary appstore so I don't want to buy it without knowing if it will work with things besides the apps on their store

If it's like every other controller on the market, it's probably just detected as a standard gamepad which can be used in any emulator that supports external gamepads.
