What a shame!
You was playing very cool in your DS cheating... but then! You saw something, Mystery Zone?!
You check it... there's nothing... only darkness... you went go back where you was. and you're lost now! You cannot find the exit!
But!
There is a way to exit from this if you saved accidentally in Mystery Zone if you was curious.

What do you need:
Pokémon D/P/PLA game (duh)
Some Action Replay Codes. (Don't cheat again!)

Well... just pressing SELECT while the Action Replays codes are activated (Mystery Zone Fix)...

Will appear again "Mystery Zone" that's a good sign. you can now open the menu!
Let's get out of there!

Press L + R + START to get All the TMs and HMs.
Now, go to your Bag, and teach Fly to some of your Pokémon. The code "Learn any move" enables every Pokémon to learn any move.

Well, now, let's get out of there! Fly to anywhere! and you're done! Back to your world again!

do not follow bad people so they can leave you in darkness like mystery zone.

Nope lol.
Sometimes if you're in any zone. you go to Mystery Zone. and then you go back again where you was, sometimes it won't load the zone where you was. like some Gyms or even in houses.
So, uh, basically, I just did this after years for n00bs.

Nice work around! Though I was wondering, couldn't this be fixed with some sort of AR code that just modifies your coordinates to put you back in Twinleaf Town or somewhere near before you load your save?

EDIT: Pretty sure one can be pretty easily generated with PokéSav (or PokéGen or PkHex or whatever, I've lost track), just an idea

Depending where you save, when reloading the game, it can change your position due to how the map system works. Actual mystery zone areas generally disable the pause menu, though to save in there you have tp register the underground kit

Nope, even with PokeHex.
Why? because the game still thinks you are in Mystery Zone. (the game still have 0x00 adress)
The only way to get out is Flying. that way, the game changes the adress 0x00 to any other.

Its because its a combination of map id, and coordinates. You need to change both to get out

There's an easier way, I found a cheat long ago that set your coordinates to the front door of your house by pressing select, all you do after that is open and close any menu.

Heh, I used to go into Mystery Zone all the time and never had that problem.
I used it to travel faster with the Walk Through Walls cheat.
Only after beating the game, of course

Yeah, that would be much better, rather than giving yourself every TM/HM which would be hard to get rid of again, and learning a HM move that you need to visit a specific NPC to get rid of.
