So as the title says. I am curious about this. I thought this was just plug and play after i replaced the HDD in the enclosure with another 500GB HD from HGST. But turns out the answer is no. My Xbox 360 doesn't recognise it. It says something along the lines of "No storage found". So i came here for help. It's the drive in the screenshot. I found something about flashing the HDD with software called HDDHackr. But this is only for WD drives. Any help? :)

You won't be able to make it work.

I'm not entirely certain about the 500 GB HGST drives but Western Digital Scorpio Blue drives are pretty much the only drives that HDDHackr can inject a security sector in.

Wow really? That really is a bummer :(
Thanks for your answer though. It's really appreciated :)

Unfortunately yeh.

A WD Scorpio Blue should do the trick fine.
Make sure you dump your emulator partition from your original drive and inject it in the new drive if you want to continue enjoying old Xbox games.
