I'm convinced Mario Odyssey is inspired by Meet The Robinsons

The movie has a hat mind controlling a frog AND a T-Rex. Those respectively are the first and most iconic capture in Mario Odyssey. Coincidence? Probably, but that's one heck of a coincidence.

I just randomly thought of Mario in the city, that's the most iconic part to me. From there I pictured him in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, in Morioh. The hat ability is his newly acquired Stand.
