nds-bootstrap:

Thanks to the work of ahezard, Gericom, Apache, Robz8, _catcatcat, and shutterbug2000 and other contributors, we can now load NDS games from the SD card, without any flashcard/SLOT-1 card.

Don't expect high compatibility, but do expect many, many updates.

Here's what i got so far, as i said some of the games i tested doesn't need a donor rom at this point.
since i haven't upload this list in a while, i'm just making sure what they're up against in terms of games.

It should, at least on the 3ds. The entire game is small enough to be jammed into RAM and ran from there. If anyone's running on a DSi with SRLoader, results might not be quite as ideal.

Sure. Learn to code, preferably in assembly as that is necessary to reverse engineer DS games, and contribute code to the project. But other than that, no.

Yep, and that is why there are so few coders for low level homebrew projects like nds-bootstrap or the thing that lets you emulate an amiibo on the 3ds from a file stored on the sd card. Not to mention why the 300 title limit hasn't been cracked yet.

with libnds and libfat downgraded to 1.6.2 & 1.1.1, it builds but seems not able to run any nds roms.

Once again, thanks to @shutterbug2000, Sonic Colors and (some?) other SDK5 games will be supported in the next version of bootstrap!
You'll need a donor cart (not a donor ROM) though, as save patching for SDK5 games isn't implemented yet. As a result, some SDK5 games, including Sonic Colors, may not work for SRLoader users on DSi using dsiwarehax.
