Hey emukidid, could you make it so that 1.2 rice can read the .ini from usb?(or when ran from usb have it be able to see the wii64 folder on sd) the .dol runs fine from usb, loads the game up and exits just fine. it just cant see the needed ini from sd or usb when loaded from usb. so it just does the black screen with audio thing. Or if anyone else can simply compile this with that one small addition. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Hold on to your butts folks... Things about to get crazy in here :P

Wii64 Rice video plugin hi-res texture packer.
https://github.com/emukidid/Wii64/releases/download/texturepacker_1.2/texpacker.zip
Source: https://github.com/emukidid/Wii64/archive/texturepacker_1.2.zip

Converts conventional hi-res texture packs into Wii64 compatible texture packs (pre converts to GX texture format for speed).

(Wii64 TexPack DOL) https://github.com/emukidid/Wii64/releases/download/HiResTest/wii64-Rice.dol

A Hi-res texture pack enabled build of Wii64 with the Rice Graphics plugin.

This is incomplete (buggy, some types not implemented) and reads a Wii64 converted texture pack from a hardcoded location on SD: /wii64/hires/texture.pak

Source: https://github.com/emukidid/Wii64/releases

Props to Emukidid, Thanks Mate :)

I converted a Mario 64 TexPack to Wii64 if anyone want s to test it out :)
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Be41Er583P5thzH6NWjHy9fvhF8uPezD
Place it in SD:/Wii64/hires.
Just use the DOL from my last post (This can be used with the WiiU CPU Unlock app to) ;)

Note: This version of Wii64 doesnt include Fix94's WiiU Gamepad support :(

Some can merge FIX's changes and then compile it, FIX forked the current emukidid code + his changes after all :)
Ah shit, what a good time to have my Linux PC fucked over due to a cutoff update.
I would be all over the place trying to compile the latest texture pack Wii64 with FIX's changes.

DAMNIT!

Do you know how to use devkitpro? Also is there source code?

You can find the source here: https://github.com/emukidid/Wii64/releases but messing with source code is above my skill level ;)

It's ok, maybe @FIX94 is up for merging the Texpack changes into his build?

@ploggy I just went through the changes, and it seems it's only one commit behind FIX's Wii64.
Are you able to compile in your PC?
I could instruct you as to how to do so right now.

No wait, you know what?
Here you go:

Try compiling that source code.
If everything goes fine, you should have the latest texture pack Wii64 with Gamepad support.

Oh I can wait, no problem ;)
By how things are going I won't be able to compile jackshit until monday, since the Gentoo PC is at update 24 from 212, so yeah it won't finish anytime before my checkout hour.

If anyone else is willing to take the cake, give it a try.
Try to compile that source and let us know if the texture packs are working on a Wii U with the Gamepad controls and everything.

there are games where the speed limiter does not work like a chooper one and knife edje afaik.
To me it happens on all games. I had the wii64 1.2 rice from fix64, and just changed the new boot.dol from emukid with the old one, and I use the same n64 wii u forwarder. And now all games run without speed limiter, supermario, goldeneye, perfect dark etc. I dont know If I did something wrong

Solved, I went to settings.cfg on wii64 folder and changed LimitVIs to 1, I dont know why I had speed limiter on before if that was set to 0, I suposse because the 1.2 normal rice didnt looked into that option or something like that, anyway, thank you.

I got it to compile but Texpacks don't work (roms just look like original) Gamepad works though:P
I'm using the command Make -f Makefile.Rice_wii that's correct right?
