I don't have tools with me. I am on business trip.
But it's regular size for Galaxy Note 4, you will not miss. And it's even slimmer than ps vita original battery. Fits like a glow after removing some plastic walls from 3G module compartment

This should be ok as soon as you can close the shell.
Unpack the original battery and take the controller from there.

Tried this myself today. It's working fine, but I haven't tested battery life.

I used an oem note 4 battery so it was bare metal after unpacking. I covered it with electric tape.

Be careful when you are going to disassemble Battery Packs!
It could be very dangerous when you destroy the foiled aluminium bag which is part of the battery protection.
If you disassemble a discharged vita battery it does hold enough charge due the protection circuit to burn!!

If you use a battery with a damaged aluminium foil it could probably leak and destroy your vita, explode or go on fire.
You have been warned, that is really serious!
