I thought that's what I was trying to do? Attempting to follow the tutorial
In what way are you wanting to change your mayor's face? You might be able to change it with the ACNL save editor.
I've custom drawn it. I have the files ready, just stuck on getting them to load.
Can someone make a tutorial on how to use this to replace skins in minecraft New3ds edition?
I'd start by extracting the RomFS of the game and finding out what file the skin is stored in. Then, depending on the file type, take the steps to replace it with another skin. Then place the resulting file in SD:/OnionFS/00040000001b8700/romfs/path/to/file, place OnionFS.plg in SD:/plugin/00040000001b8700/, load NTR with BootNTR selector and start the game.
You would probably be better off with luma's default layerdfs patching, so you don't need to boot up ntr every time you want custom skins.
Great tool, though it seems to crash with A Link Between Worlds.
Have you tried Luma's built-in patching?
