Hey guys how can I change the aspect ratio to fit into handheld borders? The presets don't fit and I found somewhere that you have to put the aspect ratio to custom and then e.g 4x4 for gameboy but custom ist no option in retroarch wii u
Yes it is.
You need to go to Settings -> Video and then change the Aspect Ratio until you hit "Custom".
Once in custom, you can make use of the X and Y offsets right below the Aspect Ratio option.
Change them to your liking, and once you save simply back off and go back to the game, the new aspect ratio should be applied.

do you have an autoconfig file on
Code:
sd:/wiiu
by chance?
No. there's no autoconfig in that directory
That could be fixed with a Sound restoration.
Unfortunately, only Bregalad (the very creator of the tools to do so) seems to know how to do that sort of thing for GBA games.
I haven't seen anyone else being able to restore SNES OSTs to the GBA like he has done for the whole FF franchise in the GBA and the Breath of Fire games:

If at all, the Mario games in the GBA should be easier, due to having way less music tracks per game compared to RPGs of that calibre.

Now to go more in topic, @ploggy, are you still getting the crash from yesterday?
I only played mGBA yesterday, and I went back to individual apps for each core instead of a main one, so I can't be of much help due to my setup, but I do plan on going back to the main RA app.

Yes still getting it but good news looks like fr500 has fixed the issue... just waiting for the new build to come out :)

Seems like it, but the buildbot hasn't made a new WiiU build for 19 hours so somethings still not right somewhere.
Shouldn't we tell someone about that?
I say we should wait just a little longer.
The 12th still hasn't gone by, so it could still be up in a few hours.
What timezone are those time stamps at from the buildbot?

Oh and btw ploggy, fr500 is @Radius4 :P

So...I take it the mGBA core is broken in the 1-11-18 nightly? Tested out BOF1 with color and sound fixes, but wanted to try it on the Wii U.
Well I used the January 11th cores yesterday and mGBA worked fine with SMA4.
Try with that one, if it works with that one then wait for the January 13th builds in a few mins.
