Revo K101 Plus

I was given a Revo K101 Plus and GBA games run perfectly. On theri website they state that GB and GBC games are supposed to run near perfect as well - which they do. But here's the thing: I cannot save. I started playing Pokemon silver and saved, after launching the game again, no save file was recognised even though the device created one on the sd card. Does anyone know how saving in GB/GBC games works?

GBC compatibility is emulation based. In order to save the SRAM in Goomba you have to bring up the Goomba menu by pressing L+R. Once you do that, it'll update the save file. The you ca exit that menu again and use the Revo menu to exit.
