thank you for the info that it's same level players only. I thought any level could do it.
if it's not too often, I might test it. if I don't like it, or it's too much then I can just disable it again.

Generally speaking, it's more a range of levels, but the range is 10% higher than your level or lower. So if you're level 50, you'll only ever get invaded by people level 55 or lower. Not that much of an advantage, only 5 levels.

But yeah, as Hells said, invasions in Souls games after a while become very rare, especially once an "unofficial" PvP arena is decided upon by the community. I imagine when the remaster hits, you'll see a fair amount of invasions in earlier areas (Undead Burg and Undead Parish especially), but after a few months it'll die down to just later game stuff. In Dark Souls 1, the "unofficial" PvP arena was Oolacile Township, which was a late game DLC area.
