I have two systems, one with CFW and I was attempting to install CFW on the second unit using DSiWarehax and system transfer. I missed a step however and so I need to redo the transfer. I've heard of spoofing and running the check through a proxy and somehow interferring with the way the systems check with Nintendo's servers to make sure the limit isn't there before transferring. I couldn't find any details on how to do that if it would even work? At this point I'm just looking for suggestions/theories/details on how this whole process works and (hopefully) I can put something together to bypass this limit. Is there a Homebrew solution? Is it a matter of changing the MAC address or some system file?

Any help is appreciated! I'm on day 2 so if it means waiting it out, so be it. But I'm also excited to play on my N3DS XL with my installed games :-P

Thanks!

If you can recover the movable.sed from the source system, you can use this to inject dsihax to your target system's dsiware exports using your PC.

Even if you don't have your movable.sed pre-transfer, I think you can make it work by subtracting 1 from the XX byte below in your movable.sed
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 XX 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
The above bytes start at 0x110 in your movable.sed. Do NOT edit this inside your 3ds. Only use an edited movable.sed with TADpole.

Thank you! After some tinkering I managed to get this to work! No need to wait the System Transfer out, thank you so much!

I did. After I felt that the answers provided were either non-answers or outdated methods, I didn't want to revive old threads from other OP's that either decided to accept the answer of "no" or managed to get Nintendo to reset the System Transfer wait period on their consoles. I'm glad I did, as my question has been answered with a new method unique to a situation that I'm sure others will encounter as well if they miss that step while performing a transfer and attempting to install DSIware hax. I'm sorry if you felt that I shouldn't have created a new thread, but I hope you can understand my reasoning.

after it's open, its a bit slower too at loading pages, but not as noticeable as the initial startup and homepage loading
