Except that sticky is old and hasn't been updated. We do know a little bit about homebrew and piracy now.
The title needs a change lol.
What I'm talking about is, we need a new thread, (as in, not that one, haha) with the pros and cons to updating. Why you should, and shouldn't, followed by what the hack is, how deep it is (information on the hack) and dev quotes.

I agree with a sticky/thread about this, yet it won't stop the kids posting the same shit over and over.
Or people could just stop being stupid and just inform themselves instead of spamming a question that is answered in literary every thread

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.+1

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
