Yuck, I didn't take those. Why emulate poorly when you can still easily get the originals..Give us back those NES and SNES Classic too.
Wares as in general items.Since we'e already irreparably offtopic, is it pronounced "wah-rezz" or "wears"?
Juarez? Like Call of Juarez?Since we'e already irreparably offtopic, is it pronounced "wah-rezz" or "wears"?
I've always pronounced it wears.Since we'e already irreparably offtopic, is it pronounced "wah-rezz" or "wears"?
I hate that game .Juarez? Like Call of Juarez?
This is ridiculous. You are talking about gaming as if it's food or shelter. It is not ok to steal games no matter how poor you are simply because you "really want to play".
I can't believe how common entitlement is these days that pirates can't even be honest with themselves about what they're doing. Back in the day we were proud pirates dammit.
Piracy is the illicit duplication of a digital medium, the original game, media, etc is still there. You're just making an illegal copy. That's piracy. Yes, it's still illegal, but the original copy of the movie, game, etc is still there, isn't it? Stealing implicates that the original is taken and can't be replaced. People need to calm their tits about people who pirate, and give this a read

I explicitly stated the opposite. Unlike food and shelter, games are not needed for survival. They are a luxury item and therefore it is never morally justified to pirate.By your reasoning, people who can't afford food should not be entitled enough to think they deserve to eat. Which is obviously wrong.

You lost me now. Are you saying that if someone can't afford to buy their kids a toy then it's morally ok for them to go out and steal one?Again, by your reasoning (where only the absolute necessary for survival should be provided with no moral implications), then a person who is struggling in life shouldn't be allowed to:
-Drink a coffee
-Buy a toy for their child
-Have fun
Just three situations that speak for themselves. You can add as many as you like.

No. I'm saying that if someone can't afford to buy their kids a toy, they should be given one, or at least a way to duplicate the original.
Your child is not at fault for your financial problems, and should be given the minimum necessary to have a a little bit of a happy childhood.
That is what piracy is supposed to be in it's heart.
Now, are there others that abuse and take advantage of this system? Are there people who pirate even though they can easily afford what they are pirating?
Certainly.
This, again, is where the real problem lies. The lack of moral of some people.
I think we have fundamentally different views on the topic so I'll leave it here. I'm almost a bit speechless from what you wrote to be honest.No. I'm saying that if someone can't afford to buy their kids a toy, they should be given one, or at least a way to duplicate the original.

Alright, I'll say it. Your logic has holes. So.. many... holes..
How can you justify piracy by comparing it to basic necessity? It just doesn't work.
