Blue Dragon Complete Save Editor

Blue Dragon Complete Save Editor 2.0

This is the Blue Dragon save editor created by Killermiles from the 360 Haven Forums. It is side uploaded on the internets but the source place is behind a locked login system so I thought in uploading it to for preservation,

Same as before, I appologize for not talking to you Killermiles, if you are reading this, but I couldin't since I don't have a 360 Haven account and my request submission for account creation has never been answered. I so took assumption that the forums aren't taking any more new users and I'm sharing this in a effort to preserve the tool and be usable by new players. If you take issue with so, please contact me with a proof of identity and I'll take it down, but I urge you to reconsider or release it yourself outside a locked forum.

Blue Dragon Complete Save Editor

Update 2.0:
- Added the ability to modify each characters bonus attribute points (the bonuses you get from searching & enhancement items.
These bonuses can increase your stats beyond 999 if desired (except for HP & MP).
- Added right click menus to the character portraits with options to quickly max out specific values.
- Added options to the Misc tab to change the game difficulty (requires UltraHardMode DLC) and played time.

Update 1.2: Modified the NumericUpDown control to truncate values when they exceed the configured minimum/maximum
instead of throwing an exception which could prevent you from modifying a save which you previously modified in order to max out a characters
level or shadows rank etc.

Update 1.1: Added a couple of missing bracers and other items which may have prevented you from opening your save.

I realise its one of the oldest XBOX RPGs out there, but I just didn't get on with any of the existing editors so I decided
to make one for myself and as usual, to share with you guys :)

As with all my editors, I have spend hours of arduous research to ensure that all save modifications are as perfect as
they can be, but if you find a bug please please report it including a copy of your save to test.

Blue Dragon Complete Save Editor v2.0

The editor handles decryption, re-signing and re-encryption and automatically creates backups of any saves you open
so you don't lose your game if you change your mind later. Kudos to the authors of the existing editor for giving me the
idea and the author of X360.dll which I made use of to make this editor work.

Editing Character Stats, Accessories and Shadows

Once you open a save you will unlock the tabs allowing you to modify various aspects of your game. On the Shu, Jiro,
Kluke, Marumaro and Zola tabs you can modify the main character's stats, accessories and shadows.

To enable/disabled a character, click their picture, to unlock shadows for a specific character check the "Unlocked" box
at the top of the shadows table.

To quickly max out a character, right click on their picture for options.

The LV (level) fields for characters and shadows are disabled and cannot be changed. This is because changing these
values directly, while reflected in the game, provide none of the related stat increases. Instead you should increase the
character's EXP or the shadow's SP value and then enter the game and win a battle to be correctly levelled up. 999,999
EXP or 9,999 SP will comfortably result in a level/rank of 99.

When selecting accessories, you can choose from any item for each slot regardless of accessories in your inventory.

Inventory Editing

am5xkm.png

The Inventory tab shows your individual items in each of the 4 item groups including all DLC items. Unlike any existing editor,
Each item's quantity can be set individually or on mass. The game's maximum is 99 per item but setting some up to 9999
may be useful.

Spellbooks

n5r2wp.png

The Spellbooks tab shows your individual spellbooks in each of the 4 categries. Each spellbook's quantity can be set individually
or on mass. The game's maximum is 99 per item but you shouldn't need more than 5 of each.

Accessories

9uurnb.png

The Accessories tab shows your individual accessories in each of the 5 groups including all DLC items. Each item's quantity can
be set individually or on mass. The game's maximum is 99 per item. These numbers do not include or affect equipped accessories.

Valuables

96al9u.png

The Valuables tab shows your individual valuables/key items including all DLC items. Each item's quantity can be set individually
or on mass. The game's maximum is 99 per item but setting some up to 9999 may be useful. Editing these items "could" break
the game by screwing with your progress.

Encyclopaedia

ll30j.png

The Encyclopaedia tab shows your Monster Record progress and kills. You can modify kills for individual monsters or on-mass.
To easily get the achievement for completing your Monster Record, set all but one monster to a value or 1 or higher and then
kill one of the remaining monster to get the achievement. The Poo Snake is a good choice as it is the 1st monster you encounter.

Adventure/Battle Records

22fiba.png

The Misc tab allows you to edit your Adventure and Battle Records including Gold, Medals and Nothings, Total Encounters,
Monster Fights, Multi-Monster Encounters, Wins, Escapes, Back Attacks and Supprise Attacks, which can be used to easily
get several of the game's achievements. You can also change the game's difficulty if you have the UltraHardMode DLC installed
and you can change the played time for the save.

So there you have it, I hope you enjoy it. If you have any problems please post and/or e-mail me including your save game.

PS The editor requires the .NET Framework 4.0.
Do not give yourself the white device, it breaks the game at Noluta village (Disc 3)

@Xdqwerty, No, but I've seen it on Vinesauce's stream.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, that game is one of the reasons i met newgrounds bc the full versión of it is in that site

Spoke to Tom Fulp the other day, if he can find his old Newgrounds site content like the mini Flash animations from the 2000's that played on the portal.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
So far no response, but he did say that he'll find them. Wayback Machine doesn't have em.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, atleast the 1999 versión of pico's school is avaliable (the difference between it, the 2006 versión and the 2016 versión is that the speed of the game depends of the speed of your computer and that it had the og soundtrack)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Another being Pico VS Bear, the original 1999 version before Jim Henson filed a DMCA takedown.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
The 2006 versión was made when the flash portal was made
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Many people thought it was lost, but was discovered that he hid it on the same page.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, although the "secrets" system where the game was has been removed. Also pico vs uberkids had a netplay versión that was shutdown, although the swf file has been found
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Nope. There are two download buttons on the same page, where you can download the original under a file called "bear.exe". "bear2.exe", however, is the updated game in a Flash projector. P.s. this was on the archived Pico page from 2000.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's been there for a long time, too. People who search for lost media don't look hard enough lmao.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, also the pico 2 demos used to be only for the newgrounds patrons but they are on internet archive too (https://archive.org/download/picos_school_2)

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Iirc the demos were removed from newgrounds in 2022
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, or well only the demo with mindchamber's style was on newgrounds

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Fun fact @SylverReZ: iirc one of the goals on the fnf Kickstarter stated that pico 2 would be finished but the Kickstarter didnt get enough money for that goal to be fullfiled
