I haven't checked the XCI file personally, but the site I've found it on has 18.0.0 listed as required firmware.

Idgaf if this game gotten leaked. People who leak games are honestly the worst kinds of people you'll ever meet becuase you'll have them leak the game, which in turn will have people ask for them so they can "spite Nintendo" with all the bad stuff they're doing.
You may think that Piracy is morally right (which to some degree I can agree) but what I don't think is morally right is leaking a game everybody is expecting just for those that "support piracy" to obtain it through other means. The fact that people are so attempted to get the pirated game to even try to "to disguise the link as some base64 rubbish" is just complete nonsense. People can't just wait for the game to release? and then talk about bugs right after. People are mad.
If people don't want to click the link to the rules, I'll just show off the first thing that they SHOW upon reading it.
edit: people really think I am supporting Nintendo with me saying all of this, and I just want to point out right now that I am not 100% with them, as I dislike the way that they're handling the current emulation scene. If you think that I'm joking with this, I have a huge catalog of games obtained through other means. I just don't like how people are just leaking this game earlier than the intended release date and people are making fun of those like me cause they think that it's morally right to do so while it ruins the experience for most.

The game comes out today/tonight too depending on what region you’re in and if you are getting the digital version
It’s also a 20 year old game but I refuse to watch review videos bc I want the art style to be a bit of a surprise

Is that bc it’s 30fps or just the way the game is ? Wow that’s sorta disappointing to hear. Would think this is the definitive way to play :/

More like hours... it's already playable legally if you bought the NZ eShop version.
Compared to stuff like the leaks of Pokémon Sun and Moon, Smash 3DS or recent stuff like Metroid Dread, Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Princess Peach Showtime this feels more like a "someone got their Amazon order early" kind of situation.

Something about changing between companions more quickly with a button press while exploring so you can use their various talents to progress. I can't remember if the review I read (Nintendo Life) mentioned any other improvements beyond that.
I literally have a good amount of the catalog of old Nintendo games gotten through other means. I only dislike those that support the idea of getting a game much earlier than everybody else. It ain't fair to most people, and it's funny for me to see people like you that would make an attempt to point fingers at us for "supporting Nintendo's actions."
