Of course I do, how could I forget you haha. I am doing pretty good, I was studying at a college and doing some work at the same time, but haven't forgotten my journey as well. You could say something has awakened in me, so I am now figuring out the rest. :D
I really need something like a USB C to C cable that when you plug it in to any two devices, on both devices immediately a file explorer opens up to copy files to and from both devices. That would save so many headaches and time.
ChatGPT is scary, I watched this video and as a developer this makes me feel nervous about the future of my work.
I realize for more complex things it can fail with regards to code, but looking at how quick ChatGPT got released in this state, how can we not expect it to be on par with experts in...
Nvidia Broadcast's look at the camera AI is scary. I would use it in uni but the only problem is looking away and back has a very robot-like eye movement.
I was referring to where when the childhood is considered great though. And the point is exactly perspective, your memory is never the real thing you experienced in that moment and looking back into the past always has its own distortions of what happened. It either downplays or exaggerates.
Thankfully I can remember regular moments as well rather than the lasting memories, and it's just normal. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug and just bloats the real thing you felt in the moment back then.
Mind is such an illusion, you look back into the past and it can compress a year into feeling like it flew by like in a month even though if you think about it, you know you experienced a day each. Something so common I see is people thinking their childhood was great but really it was pretty...
I'm building like an AIO video downloader / player app for Android and possibly iOS. But I wonder, is there any way to allow downloading videos from YouTube, or would I be in legal trouble? Are there workarounds, or is just allowing to play a video from an extracted URL fine if I don't provide a...
They're probably referring to that feature that used to be here where Temp had a list of keywords that would automatically receive a tooltip and hyperlink to a forum, thread and the like. I remember 'cheat' linked to the large cheat group we have. They probably didn't check if it still occurs...
VR had the chance to integrate with existing games and tech but VR companies said "NO, I WANT MY SHIT TO BE STANDALONE AND MY GAMES EXCLUSIVE TO FACEBOOK"
Back when Oculus Rift was still starting out and being demoed around, they modded existing games to use it as a 360° immersive screen thing and that was AMAZING.
The tech isn't there for affordable power enough VR headsets at a good market value yet sadly, oculus had a good idea but didn't have enough funds for marketing iirc
But now it's "can I use my VR set with my racing games, that would be neat?" "ONLY IF YOU USE OUR DILDOSTICK CONTROLLERS AND RUN THE GAME ON OUR ANDROID-UNDERPOWERED BRICK"
These are the same type of gamers that spend $2,000 on a GPU when a $600 GPU gives nearly the same outcome which is what the market looks at for them to do spend more on unneeded bs
