Am I too active?

I feel like I'm overdoing it a bit sometimes because I can go to the new content section and see my name as the last message for at least 3 to 4 threads at a time when I'm online. I'm not sure if I'm contributing well enough for so many posts as it might be fairly useless what I'm posting. I'm looking for an opinion that isn't mine because I try to figure out what people are thinking of me but I tend to be wrong...

I care about what people think about me because when I don't keep myself distracted I think, and when I think my thoughts just gravitate towards thinking about my mistakes in life, what people think of me, and what I'm doing wrong and what I need to do to make them think better of me.

Honestly, why do you care so much. You are some stranger on an online forum to most. Just be polite and no one will care about how much you post.

it's just where my mind tends to wander, not exactly what I want to think about yet I just end up diving down that path, though at least these moments never happen when arround others except for rare acations

Dude. I used to be this same way. It's hell. You should fight your way out of that thought process before it becomes an automatic filter that your mind runs every idea or action through. You can be so obsessed with others' opinions that it becomes crippling.

multiple personality disorder....I don"t think it's that...I've looked into it over time and I think it might be existential depresion, though I'm not sure. also, @wiiU, this has always been my profile pic on here
